Non-operative management following a shoulder subluxation or dislocation remains a challenging and complex task. This course introduces a clinical instability framework that addresses these three clinical dilemmas. It is designed to accompany the clinical concepts journal article published in the Journal of Athletic Training in 2023 with co-author Prof Timothy Uhl, University of Kentucky (you can download the paper from the introduction lecture).
This course presents a clinical framework of progressive rehabilitation that addresses deficits in motor control, strength, and endurance in scapula and glenohumeral musculature. Clinicians can use this framework to guide patients from an initial instability event, through to return to play.
As with all our courses, this course comes with a money-back guarantee and a follow-up Zoom call with Dr Margie Olds to discuss concepts from the course, and applications to individual patients. This course is approved by BOC so Athletic Trainers in the USA can earn 3CEU with this course.
Course Feedback:
"I loved your non-op instability course. Game changer for my patients. Was not getting results and became disillusioned with the whole scapular dyskinesia/ motor control doesn’t matter.. ‘can’t go wrong getting strong’ approach so prevalent on social media. Thanks"
